One of the ways that we’re trying to help Knox live his best life (besides fixing his sleep) is to get him involved in Playball. As it turns out, he needs a little bit of help getting used to crossing the mid-line of his body and also getting his mind around some co-ordination things. And apparently Playball is one of the best and most fun ways to help him to do this.

Knox is really excited about it, although when we have chatted about it, the thing that excites him the most is that he gets to stay at aftercare. Who knew that the idea of aftercare is more exciting than going to your grandmothers house who loves and adores you? I didn’t. But apparently for Knox, it is like the ideal way to end the day. He’s such a funny little dude, every time I think I might have him figured out he throws something like this into the mix. Literally crying at school the other day because I wouldn’t let him stay for aftercare. So weird.
Anyway, in a way to get him more interested in the actual activity part of the afternoon, we’ve been chatting about how much fun it will be. Having an extra hour or two to run around with his friends while secretly helping his body without him even knowing. It’s a win win really.
So when we were contacted by Converse to highlight their new Autumn/Winter range of course I said yes. I know when I personally have to like, move my body and stuff, the first thing that gets me excited enough to actually do it, is to get an outfit to do it in without feeling awkward.

You should also know that this is the first time that he has been excited about me getting him clothes. Usually he cries like I’d just thrown all his Paw Patrols out of a moving car, because he really only wanted toys. Guys, that’s a whole other post for another day. But for now, it’s enough to say that he was damn excited about these clothes.
The new Autumn/Winter Converse range is focused on boys and girls that are on the move. That are constantly running, playing, burping, slurping, jumping, darting, evading and all the other things that toddlers thrive on. This range is specifically focused on the two to six range of children that are into being active.
My favourite addition that Converse have is their new time saving Velcro straps – now you can get the look without having to tie your kids shoe laces a million times a day! That sounds like the perfect fit for me.
