Remember that time we found an egg in the garden and then it hatched with this guy in it?

Of course you do. And that’s just because you read it on this old blog. Imagine living it?! It’s one of those wonderful childhood memories that will stick with you forever. Like drinking Bashews on hot Summery days or all those times you accidentally killed your tamagotchi (I honestly don’t know how my kids are still alive).

So far our Joe has been to the park, snuggled up in bed with one or other of the kids, snuck into a school bag (but rescued at the last minute) and watches everyone eating around the table every night. It really has been a joy to see them interact with Joe, they are so careful and loving. It gives me a glimpse of what it’s going to be like when they have kids. Although, there’s really NO rush for that. At all. Obviously.

There’s no doubt that these Hatchimals are already on your kids wish lists this Christmas. I know it’s on ours. They have told me so about a millionty two times. Although I think they could tell that Father Christmas couldn’t afford to buy two more, so they’ve also been saving up since we hatched Joe so that they can ALL have one and go on “playdates” together.
