Little Miss and Mr Men

Besides party planning, the next thing that I like to challenge myself with is kids fashion.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not hard to find good quality and visually appealing outfits, the problem is getting my kids to like them too.  Believe me, the days of dressing them up in whatever I want are long gone.  I have lost all control and sometimes have to just keep my eyes closed as we’re walking out the door, if I stayed back to fix it, we’d be even later than we usually are all the time.

The trick is finding fashionable clothes that your kids love too.  Cotton On Kids totally meets this on every level, I can’t tell you how many times we’ve walked passed the stores and they’ve begged me to go in, “just to look”.  I think it could be that my shopping habits maybe have been passed onto them or something.  Maybe.

Anyway the Little Miss and Mr Men characters are all the rage in our house – we have half of the books and often read them to the kids as the bed time story.  So the new range that Cotton On Kids and Sanrio have brought out was a no brainer for us.  You can find these (and more – baby apparel, sleepwear, accessories and stationery) in the Cotton On Kids stores until 31 January.  Don’t miss it.

Mr Superhero was designed exclusively for Cotton On and the good news is that he is here to stay.  You’ll soon find him living on in Roger Hargreaves’ Happyland.  Which is great news for Knox who has now upped his status from Mr Chatterbox to Mr Superhero!  Although it’s safe to say that Mr Chatterbox will always be my favourite, I just love how he goes on and on and on.  I laugh every time I read it.
