So, like, I really try not to make this space one where it seems like we have it all together and get all the cool things and do all the fun things and have all the stuff.
Because well, it would be a lie.
Seth and I work really hard to put food on the table, to keep the roof over our heads, to pay all these blasted medical bills and to keep the house warm. I work really hard on this little blog to be able to enjoy the very few perks that come with it (but that’s OK, because blogging in itself is the perk for me). Basically what I am saying is, nothing is free, everything good takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get it right.
But anyway, that’s totally not where I wanted to go with this but it sort of is, so I’ll leave it there.
What I wanted to say is that I have a pretty amazing husband. Yes, he may upset me by wanting to go away to climb up a mountain with his friends instead of being home with me, but you know what? The rest of the time, I love every little inch of that man. He has been my pillar of strength during really tough times, my sounding board for all things and the one who reigns me in when I am feeling like spreading my time even thinner. Someone that I can spend endless hours with and always enjoy it.
(And now that he has declined the mountain trip he has confirmed that he is the only one for me! Like for reals.)
But more than that. He is a Dad that is there for his children, not only to provide financially, but also with his time and care. I’ve always loved him, but seeing how he loves our children makes my heart even bigger than before. Although, I didn’t think it was possible.
Being a Dad means just as much to him as it does to our kids. He even had a chance to write about it in this months edition of the Spar Savour Magazine (plus he earned some bonus points in his answers to the Contributors Questions)
If you are looking for cool things for the Dad (in your little persons life) to do with your kiddies, here are some cool ideas – check out his feature in the mag (click the pic and it will take you through).
Plus also, (and this is maybe a little brag, but can you blame me) – HOW HOT IS HE?! Flip.
