I don’t even know where to start this post. It feels like I was just writing this one the other day – but it was a whole year ago!
This year has had a whole new feel to Christmas, it’s awesome. Now that the girls are really starting to understand how it all works and also the real reason that we celebrate Christmas, every little thing that we do is starting to hold meaning and become a tradition. Which I am absolutely loving, but simultaneously not paying enough attention to (because instead of doing the “biscuit for Santa” baking project that I had planned with the girls yesterday afternoon, I decided to get seriously burnt painting the house instead).
But enough from me, I just wanted to take this quick moment to wish you a FANTASTIC Christmas. I hope that you are able to spend time with the people that you love and cherish, that you don’t sweat the small stuff and that you really enjoy your day celebrating the birth of Jesus.
For us it will be the usual morning get together of very immediate family to open presents, then church, then family lunch with Seth’s family and then tea with my family and then suicide hour. I suspect the theme behind each and every get together will be FOOD and lots of it. It’s going to be great.
So seriously, have an absolutely fantabulous day!
