It seems to be birthday season at the moment, the girls celebrations are still dying down in our house and yet we are attending parties like it’s going out of fashion. But I’m not complaining, I LOVE parties and making the birthday person feel awesome on their special day. Which is why it totally sucks that we aren’t throwing Knox a big first birthday party – but that is a story for it’s own little post.
A couple of Saturdays ago we were able to spend a lovely afternoon celebrating Ella turning 3 years old! I can’t believe that it was just the other day that we were celebrating her arrival and cuddling her gorgeous baby-ness!
Her Mom and Dad pulled out all the stops to make this party lovely! The theme was Teddy Bears Picnic. Here are some photo’s of the day.
Oh and if you’re wondering my girls look miserable in some of the pics, I think it’s because it’s the same hall that we use for their birthday parties, but this time they weren’t the centre of attention for this party. Although I could be wrong.
There was some face painting:
There was a game:
There was a super cool craft that I adored – because how cute are Riya and Seth.
There was some “pass the parcel”:
There was a gorgeous teddy bear cake and party packs (that matched the helium balloons that the kids got to take home):
And there was general fun and happiness!
All in all it was a really lovely day! Can’t wait till next year!
