I don’t normally get involved in these things. I see them and I tell myself that I don’t have time, that it’s “lame” or some other random excuse like I have to cut my toenails that day, so that’s why I don’t want to get involved. But the truth is, I see these things and freak out about involving myself.
What happens if they don’t actually want me to be involved, only other people?! What if I suck at it?! What if? What if? What if? But I’ve come to figure out that if I don’t put myself out there, I will never know the answer to that “what if?”. (Sherbit that is a bit melodramatic for such a light-hearted, well intending blog post, but it’s the truth. And I know there has to be another someone out there just like me that avoids it for the same reason, so why not confront it. OK, I’ll shut up now).
So here’s the dealio:
Charlotte over at The Stiletto Mom is busy doing all the hard work of rounding up all interested parties that want to get involved in doing a “Blogger Secret Santa“. The best part is that you don’t even have to have a blog, you just need to be a person that is keen to get involved, and it’s for everyone all over South Africa. You can check out Charlotte’s post for the real deets of how to participate and the Do’s and Don’ts of it all.
Come on, give it a go, it’s going to be fun!
